Chama Tahiri
Consultant entrepreneur, activist, independent journalist and writer. Born and raised in Casablanca, Chama regularly contributes to local and international outlets with a main focus on arts. She also consults for artists and cultural projects, gives speeches and conducts debates on social and environmental justice, women and animals' rights. In 2021, she co-founds NIYA (which means "intention"), the first vegan restaurant in Morocco that doubles as a cultural cafe, which hosts workshops, readings, screenings and meaningful gatherings.
