Survivors of Genocide in Darfur 20 years later. Their struggle and resistance in Jordan
Dina Baslan is the daughter of Circassian Jordanians. She moved to Philadelphia, USA, in September 2023. After 6 years working within the international humanitarian and development sector in the SWANA region, at the height of Europe’s migration crisis in 2015, she switched her focus to grassroots volunteer work with underserved communities in Jordan. In 2018, she co-founded Sawiyan engaging in research, advocacy and community development with African refugee groups in Jordan.
