Research fellow at the Arab Reform Initiative, an independent Arab think tank based in Paris. A researcher and human rights defender, Farah Youssef has a degree in Political Science and International Relations from Ebla University and a master’s degree in Sociology from The School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences in Paris. Her research primarily focuses on citizenship, feminism, the political participation of women and refugees in host communities, as well as the employment and professional trajectories of refugees. As an independent journalist, she has published with AlJumhuriya, Mada Masr, Syrian Female Journalists Network, and other media outlets.
