Researcher in sociology at CNRS France, she is currently working at French Institute of Anatolian Studies (IFEA) in Istanbul and responsable of Istanbul Urban Observatory. She works on urban transformation projects, symbolic and political production of urban space, right to the city, spatial justice and urban citizenship. Among her publications there is Identity, Justice and Resistance in the Neoliberal City (Palgrave), co-published with Yildirim Sentürk in 2017.
