Laura Cugusi is an artist, writer and researcher. Her practice has been nomadic across languages, disciplines, and media.
Her recent work focuses on mapping media ecologies, tech literacies, governance infrastructures and institutional world-building strategies that shape and consolidate the imagination (or lack thereof) about the future.
After her studies in media theory and political communication, she has been working in research and reporting, documentary photography and video production, art writing and exhibition making, project curation and programme design with artists, collectives, international organisations, academic and art institutions and media platforms in Italy, Egypt, Germany, the UK and the Mediterranean region.
