Reza Talebi is an academic researcher and lecturer at the University of Leipzig, Department of Oriental Studies and Religious Studies. His academic journey includes a bachelor’s in air traffic control engineering and a master’s in aerospace engineering from Iran, followed by a second master’s in International Relations and a PhD in International Law. He holds an online PhD in Islamic Philosophy from the University of Dublin. His current research focuses on interdisciplinary topics spanning culture, philosophy, religious studies, and politics.
He has previously contributed to prominent outlets such as Shargh Newspaper (Iran), Azadlıq Newspaper (Azerbaijan), and Anadolu News Agency (Turkey), where he also served as editor-in-chief of Iran Briefing. Additionally, he provided analysis for BBC Persian, Iran International, TRT, and Voice of America. He is a member of the Iranian Association of Journalists, the International Federation of Journalists, and the German Federation of Journalists.
He has authored and translated 22 books in Persian, English, and Turkish, and published numerous peer-reviewed articles in international journals on philosophy, religious studies, water politics, and sociology.
