Soufiane is a PhD Candidate in Social and Cultural Anthropology at the Berlin Graduate School Muslim Cultures and Societies (BGSMCS), Freie Universität Berlin. Soufiane’s thesis is a comparative ethnography of aesthetic and cultural productions, mainly graffiti writing and mural painting in Jordan and Morocco. His research interests and writings also concern the policies of social housing, residential strategies and urban identity in Morocco.
