Xixi Hong is an Italian-Chinese freelance journalist with experience in humanitarian and international development cooperation. Her work focuses on China and Chinese diasporas, migration, human and labour rights, intersectional feminism, and media narratives. She is also interested in film as a space to analyse cross-border appropriations and contaminations, highlighting the ethical and aesthetic stakes when one culture portrays another.
