Ali Abd Alatef is a researcher and storyteller from Syria based in the United Kingdom. He holds an MA in Gender and Middle Eastern Studies. His master’s research examined NGOised gender activism, donor governance, and the discursive silencing of queer and trans lives in the Syrian conflict.
