Stellar Meris

Stellar Meris is a painter and performer based between Berlin and Basel. Their work explores queer and decolonial perspectives through storytelling and immersive happenings. Expanding on research into the German Templers and the early colonization of Palestine, Meris graduated from the University of the Arts Berlin in 2019 and is pursuing a master’s degree at the Dutch Art Institute (2024–2026). They have exhibited and performed at the Biennale für Freiburg 2, Haus Kunst Mitte (Berlin), Kunstraum LLC (New York), NIDAC (Nida, Lithuania), and Centrale Fies (Dro, Italy), and participated in the symposium “What Is To Be Done?” organized by the Febrayer Network in Berlin.
