Tahar Lamri is a writer and playwright born in Algiers in 1958. He has lived in Ravenna, Italy since 1986. He has written for Internazionale, Left, and Il Manifesto. He published the collection "The Sixty Names of Love” (2006) and has written for the theater. In 2015, he co-wrote "Il Volo - La ballata dei Picchettini" (Ravenna Teatro) with Luigi Dadina and Laura Gambi for the Teatro delle Albe. For the Grande Teatro di Lido Adriano, he edited the dramaturgies of Mantiq at-Tayr – The Word of the Birds (2023), Panchatantra (2024), and Bhagavadgita (2025). He also co-wrote the performance "Nephesh - Protecting the Shadow" with Alessandro Renda for Ravenna Teatro.
