What is the role of academic, artistic, activist, and media practices amid ongoing genocide? And what are the possibilities for action, solidarity, and resistance in Germany and beyond? This dossier grew out of a symposium with the same title held in Berlin on May 2–3 organized by Febrayer and convened by Diana Abbani, Himmat Zoubi, Nayera Abdel Rahman, and Yasmeen Daher. Scholars, artists, students, and journalists discussed how different forms of knowledge, creativity, and organizing respond to violence, repression, and the reshaping of public space.
